Players is a 2012 Indian film directed by Abbas-Mustan, Screenplay by Rohit Jugraj and Sudip Sharma, features star casts "Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Omi Vaidya and Sikander Kher" in lead role, and Aftab Shivdasani as a cameo.
The film is an official remake of the 2003 Hollywood blockbuster, The Italian Job.
The theatrical trailer was revealed on 3 November 2011, and the film was released on 6 January 2012.
Music is given by Pritam, Cinematography by Ravi Yadav, Editing by Hussain Burmawala, Distributed by "Viacom 18, Burmawala Partners".
Filming of the movie has taken parts of India, Russia and New Zealand. Some of the filming also took place in Goa, New Zealand's Wellington and Auckland earlier in 2011, few shots are taken close to Russia's Arctic Circle, Arctic Ocean and even in the North Pole, and a long schedule was also shot in Siberia, St Petersburg and other locations in India. Some of the scenes where also filmed, which was the first time in Bollywood that anyone had actually filmed there.
The official soundtrack was composed by Pritam, and background score by Sandeep Shirodkar. The lyrics were penned by Ashish Pandit. The music rights were sold to T-Series.
